thank YOU for being here …

…if you have found your way here, it’s quite possible that you are looking to change something in your life?

Or perhaps you are simply feeling curious about what this ‘Yin Thing’ offers…

maybe you don’t even fully understand why you are here at this moment, you’ve just followed a trail and now you’re here…

so, what is yin?

Yoga is like a forest …and in that forest there are many trees.

Each tree has grown from its own individual seed, that seed has its own unique characteristics, influenced by various factors.

YIN is like one of those trees in the yoga forest…. however its not like anything else in that forest, it does combine a couple of shapes and philosophies from The Yoga forest.... However, it is unique… at first it may seem ‘a little easy’… or ‘looks like simple stretching’… But what’s going on underneath, is pretty damn amazing!

Why should you try YIN ?

Yin is for everybody.

Which is why when i stumbled across it after over a decade of practicing vinyasa yoga.. i knew instantly that i wanted to teach it… i love that everyone can practice it in some form or another. There are many variations to the shapes that we make… and variations aren’t something we add on top of Yin Yoga.
They’re part of how Yin meets real bodies !

yin, a profound practice that takes you on a journey inward; tackling mind, body and spirit in one.

Big Ideas,
Antidote to Modern living?

Our nervous systems are often on high alert on a day to day basis, responding to various stimuli around us; social media, bombarded with news and advertising, work demands, just coming into contact with more and more humans and more and more technology. Because of all this, we certainly have more mental health issues than ever before and our nervous systems are over active…. Basically we all have a lot more tension and stress being held in our bodies than ever before.

Therefore, we need to ensure that we have a broader range of tools in our tool belt, and YIN is one of those essential tools that covers more than just one specific aspect. It’s versatility allows us to address various needs effectively.

Let’s create something meaningful together.

More Info:

YIN goes that little bit deeper physically and mentally than other forms of yoga movement or other exercise, because you intentionally slow down and allow yourself time.

YIN helps you achieve better mobility, helps reduce stress, decreases injuries, and strengthen bones and joints.

The slow movement and the rebounds you take ensure proper hydration of your cells and deep tissues.

And this is just to start with …
